Alstom: E858m contract for Tel Aviv metro

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom and its partners Electra & Dan Transportation, have been awarded the contract to design, manufacture, maintain and finance the Green Line of the Tel Aviv light rail system by the NTA (Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd).


The project is worth 2.6 billion euros: Alstom's share is estimated at 858 million euros.

Alstom will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, integration, testing and commissioning of the rail system, including track, electrification, power supply (energy saving system, Hesop), signaling, communication system and supply of the 98 Citadis XO5 tram carriages.
