Alstom: set to transfer V300 ZEFIRO businesses

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced the future transfer, to Hitachi Rail, of the activities relating to Bombardier Transportation's contribution to the V300 ZEFIRO very high-speed train, as part of its commitments to Brussels under the Bombardier Transportation acquisition.


The French transport equipment supplier, which thanks to it has fulfilled its divestments commitments, will continue to honour its obligations under the existing rolling stock orders of Trenitalia and ILSA to ensure a smooth transition.

The completion of these operations, which is expected in the first half of 2022, is subject to compliance with applicable social processes, consultation with employee representative bodies and regulatory approvals.
