Engie: wins contract with Nokia for Grand Paris

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announced this morning that it has been selected, in a consortium with Engie Solutions, by the Société du Grand Paris to deploy a private LTE wireless network for the new automated lines of the Grand Paris Express metro.


This project will cover over 200 kilometres of new lines, 68 new metro stations and all the metro trains running on the future 15, 16 and 17 lines of the Paris metro.

"The project will provide critical, high-speed wireless connectivity services that will meet all future Grand Paris Express operational and maintenance requirements, as well as its transportation network emergency and security needs," Nokia said.
