Engie: announces acquisition in wind energy

(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday Engie announced the acquisition of Renvico from Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) and KKR.


Renvico operates 329 MW of wind farms, including 142 MW in Italy and 187 MW in France. The company is also developing a greenfield portfolio of 300 MW.

"This new portfolio brings also an additional 300 MW capacity to be developed. It's a corner stone of our ambition to accelerate the zero carbon transition of our clients," said Gwenaëlle Avice-Huet, ENGIE's Executive vice president in charge of Renewable Energy.
