Amundi: 7% decline in quarterly adjusted net income

(CercleFinance.com) - Amundi has reported adjusted net income of E300 million, down 7.
5% compared with the first quarter of 2022, in line with unfavorable market trends, and gross operating income (GOI) of E369 million, down 10.5%.

"This good financial performance is explained by the diversification of Amundi's activities and its operational efficiency and is reflected in the resilience of revenues and the control of expenses," the asset and investment management group explained.

Net revenues fell by 4.9% to 794 million euros, with a 3.9% contraction in net management fees, while operating expenses rose by only 0.6% to 425 million in a context of high inflation.
