Orange: agreement on fiber with Covage

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange and Covage, a fiber infrastructure operator specialising in the design, deployment and operation of very high speed networks, have announced that they have reached an agreement enabling the incumbent operator to deploy its offers on Covage FTTH networks.


So far, areas concerned by this include Calvados, Essonne, Haute-Savoie, Herault, Seine-et-Marne, la Somme, the Lille metropolis and the urban community of Dunkirk.

Orange will market its Fiber Internet access offers for individuals and professionals based on the progressive rollout of outlets. Orange has already launched the marketing of its services in Provins in Seine-et-Marne on 4 April this year. Eventually, Covage aims to offer over three million sockets to its operator customers, Orange said.
