Renault: record international sales for the half year

(CercleFinance.com) - Today, Renault announces worldwide sales for the first half of the year of approximately 2.
1 vehicles (+9.8% compared to the same period in 2017), constituting “record international sales” according to the French group.

More specifically, the group's registrations in Europe are up 4.4%. The Renault brand (+1.1%) has a market share of 8.1% with Clio 4 being the 2nd best-selling vehicle in Europe. The Dacia brand is up in terms of market share (2.9%) with 281,255 registrations for the period.

Outside Europe, registrations are up 16.4%. The Renault group posts increased sales in the Americas (+18.1%), Asia Pacific (+69.5%), and Eurasia (+15.1%). However, it is experiencing a slowdown in the Africa Middle-East India region (-4.5%).

The group's market share is now 4.3%.
