Société Générale: targets set for 2025

(CercleFinance.com) - On the occasion of the publication of its annual results, Societe Generale declares that it is targeting revenue growth in excess of 3% for 2025, following a 6.
7% increase to E26.8bn last year (above its target of at least +5%).

For the year ahead, the banking group is also forecasting a decline in operating expenses of more than -1%, an improvement in the cost/income ratio to less than 66% (vs. 69% in 2024) and an increase in ROTE to over 8% (vs. 6.9% in 2024).

With a solid CET1 ratio, ahead of the capital trajectory, it also proposes to improve its shareholder return policy, with an overall payout ratio of 50% of net income, and a balanced split between cash dividends and share buybacks.
