Eiffage: PPP contract in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Through Eiffage Concessions, in a (50/50) consortium with Johann Bunte Bauunternehmung, Eiffage has announced that it has completed the financing and signed a PPP (Public-Private Partnership) contract for the A3 motorway in Germany, lasting a total of 30 years.


This contract covers a stretch of about 76 kilometres between Biebellie and Fürth/Erlangen. The financing of about 1.2 billion euros has now been raised, underwritten by the EIB and other financial institutions.

Works, worth about 1.5 billion euros. A dedicated company, A3 Nordbayern, will be responsible for designing, and widening the motorway - from 4 to 6 lanes - along the operation and maintenance, as well as the partial financing of these services.
