Rémy Cointreau: FY net income, groups share reaches E157.1m

(CercleFinance.com) - Rémy Cointreau announces a FY 2018-19 revenues of 1,216.
5 million euros, up 7.9%.
Organic sales growth reached 7.8% (at constant currencies and consolidation scope), thanks to the very good performance of the group's brands (+9.8%).

Current operating profit came in at 263.6 million euros, up 11.3% (14.2% in organic terms), with its underlying operating margin reaching 21.7% at the end of March, up 1.3 point in organic terms.

Net income, group share reached 157.1 million euros, up 6% (+11.5% in organic terms). Excluding non-recurrent items, net income, group share came in at 167.8 million euros: up 10.9% as reported and up 16.3% in organic terms.

"Rémy Cointreau anticipates that 2019/20 will unfold within the framework of the Group's medium-term objectives. It will also include the termination of distribution contracts for partner brands (in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United States), which are estimated at E56 million on sales and E5 million on Current Operating Profits," management said.
