Lagardère: changes to joint-stock company

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère has announced that the general meetings of General Partners and shareholders of Lagardère SCA have approved its transformation into a joint-stock company with a Board of Directors, as well as the allocation to the General Partners of a total of 10 million new shares as compensation for the loss of their financial and non-financial rights.


The newly elected Board of Directors then met to set up the new governance structure, adopt its internal rules and appoint the members of the Audit Committee and the Nomination, Remuneration and CSR Committee.

Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman of the Board, will assume the role of CEO for the six-year term of his directorship. The Board has also appointed Pierre Leroy as Deputy CEO for the same term.
