Lagardère: growth opportunities in South America

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère Travel Retail has won a call to tender issued by Santiago de Chile's Arturo-Merino-Benítez airport to operate 20 catering outlets, in partnership with Chilean company Global Group Corporation (GGCorp).


These openings mark the start of Lagardère Travel Retail's operations in South America and Chile.

The shops will be located in the existing terminal and in the new airport terminal, for a total retail area of 3,600 square metres.

They will open from July 2021, with the opening of the new international terminal at Santiago airport, followed by January 2022, when the existing terminal will be renovated.
