Lagardère: Q1 revenue up 9.8%

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère has announced Q1 2019 revenue of 1,708 million euros, up 9.
8% as reported and up 8.9% like-for-like, largely thanks to the dollar's appreciation.

The group explained that this growth was driven by a sustained organic growth momentum at Lagardère Travel Retail, as well as a rebound in activity at Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, largely thanks to a favourable sporting calendar.

Lagardère expects 2019 recurring EBIT growth based on the target scope to be between 4% and 6% at constant exchange rates, excluding the acquisition of HBF. The contribution to 2018 recurring EBIT, based on the target scope represented 310 million euros.
