Vivendi: Oddo sees a risk in Tencent/UMG deal

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, an Oddo BHF analyst confirmed a "neutral" rating on the Vivendi share, while reviewing Tencent's purchase of a 10% to 20% stake in UMG, with its approval by the US authorities.


Believing that a blockage of the deal is unlikely, although it cannot be totally ruled out given the nationality of the buyer, Oddo BHF points out that political visibility in the US is currently very limited, which urges it to approach this subject with a degree of caution.

Oddo BHF hence confirms its target price of 26 euros, which is pretty much in line with the share's current price.
