Casino: completes sale of 31 stores

(CercleFinance.com) - Casino announces that it has completed the sale of 31 hypermarkets and supermarkets properties to companies affiliated with Apollo Global Management Inc.
, valued at 465 million euros, of which 327 million euros has already been received.

The food retail group states that, following the signing in April 2019, this divestment transaction concerns walls of 12 Géant Casino properties and 19 properties under the Monoprix and Casino Supermarkets banners.

Casino remains involved in the value creation of this transaction through an interest in the company formed by funds managed by Apollo. In this context Casino may receive up to an additional 140 million euros in the coming years.
