Vinci: October motorway traffic down 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced a 7% drop in motorway traffic in October (-8.
2% for passenger cars, although stable for trucks), mainly due to calendar effects and the fuel shortage in France.

All vehicles together, traffic over the first ten months of the year remains above its 2019 level (+1.8%), despite the rise in fuel prices, the construction and concessions group says.

Meanwhile, Vinci Airports has announced a 57.8% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in October, as well as a 2.3-fold increase over the first ten months of 2022.
