Vinci: agrees to buy Kontron AG's IT business

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Energies has signed an agreement to acquire most of the IT services business of Kontron AG (formerly S&T AG), one of the leading players in the field of connected objects in Europe.


The scope of the transaction covers Germany, Switzerland, Poland and eight other countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

Its expertise includes IT systems integration and IT services related to infrastructure and application systems.

Through this acquisition, Vinci Energies intends to strengthen its position in the European ICT market by integrating a full-year business volume of around 360 million euros and 1,600 new employees.
