Vinci: wins E400m contract in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Bachy Soletanche Singapore, a subsidiary of Vinci Construction, in a consortium with Gammon Construction and Engineering, has won the design-build contract for the extension of the Ang Mo Kio station of the Singapore metro, in a deal which is worth 400 million euros.


The station will be the link between the new Cross Island Line (CRL) and the existing North-South Line (NSL) and represents a real technological challenge, as it must be integrated into a very dense urban environment.

The contract awarded by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore includes the construction of an underground station and its tunnels, two pedestrian subways and the renovation of the existing Ang Mo Kio station.

Work is set to start in Q4 2021, with commissioning due in 2030.
