Vinci: supplies components for windfarm project

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Vinci said that Sogea-Satom (Vinci Construction International Network) will participate in a wind project, in Somerset East, South Africa, in partnership with Stefanutti Stocks, a South African construction company.


This wind farm, which will produce 141 MWatts, is one of 24 renewable energy projects launched by the government in 2018. The teams will supply all the necessary components for the 799 concrete segments of 20 m long that will be used to assemble the 47 masts of wind turbines, which are 100 metres high, the group said.

The work is set to last 32 weeks.
