Ingenico: Worldline AGM backs its planned acquisition

(CercleFinance.com) - The payment and transaction services group Worldline has announced that its AGM, which was held behind closed doors on Tuesday, massively approved the resolutions regarding its planned acquisition by Ingenico.


In particular, the meeting approved with a vast majority the issuance of shares as part of the public offering to be initiated by the Company on the shares and convertible bonds (OCEANEs) issued or to be issued by Ingenico, which are necessary for the acquisition to be successfully completed.

The renewal of the term of office of Mr. Gilles Grapinet, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for a period of three years and the Company's corporate purpuse were also widely approved by the shareholders.
