Capgemini: two contracts with Catalan government
(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini announced on Wednesday that it has won two contracts worth E37m over two years from the Catalan government.
The IT services company says it will be responsible for supporting the Catalan government in its digitisation and exploring innovative use cases in the fields of metavers and artificial intelligence.
Under these contracts, which could be extended for a further three years, Capgemini will be responsible for the development and maintenance of all the Catalan government's web portals, as well as overseeing its intranets and more than 100 dedicated applications.
Capgemini says that almost 200 of its employees will be involved in the project.
