Capgemini: new brand for engineering and R&D

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini announced on Thursday that it will bring together its engineering and research and development activities under a new brand, believing that R&D has become the new "battleground" for companies.


The new entity, dubbed "Capgemini Engineering", will bring together the consulting group's services in three key areas, i.e. product and systems engineering, digital and software and industrial operations.

This global business line aims to support companies in the convergence of the digital and physical worlds, the group said.

The subsidiary will have 52,000 engineers and scientists and will draw on Altran's expertise, one year after its integration by Capgemini.
