Capgemini: appoints group COO

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini has announced the appointment of Olivier Sévillia, a veteran who has spent 30 years working for the company, as group chief operating officer, effective from 1 January 2021.


In his new role, Mr Sévillia will be responsible for managing all the group's strategic business units and sales. His primary objective is to deploy Capgemini's sector expertise as a strategic partner of its clients.

Olivier Sévillia joined the French IT services group in 1990. Until December 2020, and since July 2018, he was head of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Europe. He joined the general management committee in January 2014.
