Plastic Omnium: Q1 sales down 4.4%

(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium's Q1 2020 economic revenue reached 2,137 million euros in Q1 2020, down 4.
4% y-o-y and down 4.8% LFL.

Plastic Omnium Modules production and Plastic Omnium Modules assembly activities were down 5.1% and 3.9% respectively LFL.

Plastic Omnium forecasts global automotive production to fall by around 35% in the first half of 2020, representing a loss of around 15 million vehicles.

"Given the systemic effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Group will present new financial targets for 2020 as soon as there is sufficient visibility regarding the schedule for restarting the production lines of its 93 automotive customers worldwide," the group said.
