Veolia: Q1 current EBIT up 14%
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia has announced a 14% growth in its Q1 2023 current EBIT (at constant scope and exchange rates), to E788m, along with EBITDA of E1.
57bn, up 8% in organic terms. The utility group's revenue reached E12bn, up 19.9% LFL (+6.3% excluding energy price effects), with growth in all operating segments. "This performance again illustrates our low sensitivity to the economic cycle and our ability to pass on cost increases in our prices," said CEO Estelle Brachlianoff. Veolia has confirmed its outlook for 2023 at all levels, including "solid organic growth" in revenue, organic EBITDA growth of +5 to +7%, as well as current net income, group share of around E1.3bn.
