Veolia: Engie demands a better offer for Suez

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie's Board of Directors met today in order to analyse Veolia's offer for part of its stake in Suez.


The Board considers that, as it stands, this offer is not acceptable.

The Board asked Veolia to seek an improvement in the terms of its offer and to obtain additional guarantees on the quality of the project.

Engie's Board noted that to date, no alternative offer had been received by Engie. The Board asked its Chairman and Acting CEO to continue these discussions and to study any alternative offer that should be sent to Engie in the next few days.
