Veolia: partners Yara to boost circular economy

(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia announced on Monday evening the signing of an agreement with Yara, a company that is specialised in crop nutrition, to develop the circular economy within the food production and agricultural chains in Europe, thanks to the recycling of nutrition solutions and the creation of "nutrient loops".


"Together, the companies will develop new business models for a circular agriculture by establishing nutrient recycling models for high quality fertilizer products, not only via existing production processes but also via local recovery, processing, distribution and sales. The companies will also create a Food-to-Agriculture value chain, by collecting and processing food surpluses in cities," Veolia said.
