Schneider: focus on sustainability at Davos
(CercleFinance.com) - Schneider Electric announced on Wednesday that it plans to focus on sustainability and energy transition issues during its upcoming participation in the Davos Economic Forum.
The French specialist in low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment says that eight members of its management team will travel to Switzerland next week, including CEO Olivier Blum and Chairman of the Board Jean-Pascal Tricoire.
This year, the group says it wants to emphasize the need to implement collaborative projects to achieve an 'equitable' energy transition.
In particular, Schneider Electric says it wants to link the rise of AI to the development of data centers, in order to give itself the means to succeed in its strategy in this area.
"Sustainability and economic growth can go hand in hand", thus assures Olivier Blum, the company's CEO.
By forging strategic partnerships, companies can leverage innovation and technology to improve their performance, while making a significant impact and ensuring a better future for all", he declared.
