Schneider Electric: in negotiations for disposal of Pelco

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the strategic review announced when it announced its annual results, Schneider Electric entered into exclusive negotiations for the sale of its Pelco business, with US private equity firm Transom Capital Group.


As a specialist in complete solutions and CCTV services, Pelco employs 478 people and generated revenues of 169 million euros in 2018. Pelco is currently consolidated under Schneider Electric's Energy Management business.

Under the terms of the offer, once finalised, the transaction would result in a disposal loss of up to 250 million euros with no effect on cash and a twelve-month accretive effect of approximately +10 basis points on the group's adjusted EBITA margin.
