Schneider Electric: raises annual EBITA target
(CercleFinance.com) - After a first half of the year deemed very positive, Schneider Electric revises its growth objective for 2018 upwards to now aim for an organic adjusted EBITA growth of between +7% and +9% (compared to the approximately +7% initially announced).
The group unveils net results for the first half of 2018 of 1,020 million euros, up 7%, as well as adjusted EBITA of 1,769 million, up organically by 11%, or a margin of 14.4%, up 50 basis points organically.
At 12,317 million euros, the manufacturer's half-yearly turnover for energy management and industrial automation increased 7% organically with an acceleration of +7.7% in the second quarter.
