Schneider Electric: completes an acquisition.
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Tuesday Schneider Electric reported having finalised the acquisition of ASCO Power Technologies, a leader in the market of automatic transfer switches (CTA).
This acquisition reinforces Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power platform on key markets and segments. ASCO will be integrated into Schneider Electric's low voltage ("Building") activity, which had announced the acquisition on 27 July and which invested cash of 1.25 billion dollars therein.
