Peugeot: tests with the CTAG on urban roads

(CercleFinance.com) - The PSA Group says that it, along with the CTAG technology centre, is testing the contribution of communication technologies to the development of vehicle automated functions for the first time in an urban environment.


The challenge is to validate the performance of communication between vehicles and infrastructure in a complex urban environment. New mobility experiences will be generated thanks to the Internet of Things and Vehicle to Everything communication technologies.

The tests, conducted in Vigo (Galicia), are being conducted on automated parking in car parks and autonomous driving in urban zones (regulation of optimal speed and approach to traffic lights as well as protection of vulnerable users).
