Kering: participating in the 'Fashion Pact'

(CercleFinance.com) - Ahead of the G7 summit, Kering announces the signature of the "Fashion Pact" which includes 32 global fashion and textile companies, setting targets to offset global warming, restore biodiversity and protect the oceans.


The plan thus provides for the creation and implementation of an action plan to reach the target of zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in order to keep global warming below the threshold of 1.5° C by 2100.

It also provides for scientific objectives to restore natural ecosystems and protect species, as well as reduce the negative impact of fashion on the oceans, for example, via the phasing out of single-use plastics.
