Thales: wins new contracts with China Southern

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has said that it has been chosen by the airline China Southern to equip Its B737MAX and A320NEO with avionics systems, through several contracts, expanding the group's spectrum of services and support activities in Asia.


China Southern has thus selected for its 30 new A320NEO a set of avionics components comprising the Thales Flight Management System (FMS). The aircraft will also be equipped with Thales' head-up displays.

For its Boeing 737MAX, it remains loyal to the Thales anti-collision system, which will equip its 43 brand new B737MAX. Thales' Inmarsat solution for the TopFlight SATCOM and short-range radio-altimeters will add to this fleet's avionics equipment.
