Eurazeo: sale of remaining 51% in Trader Interactive

(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo announces the sale of its remaining 51% stake in Trader Interactive, a marketplaces company and provider of services to dealerships for recreational cars and professional equipment in the United States.


The sale to carsales, the largest online marketplace for cars in Australia, with a growing presence in Latin America and Asia, follows the acquisition by carsales in August 2021 of 49% of Trader Interactive.

This deal values Trader Interactive at close to 1.9 billion dollars, 25 times the adjusted EBITDA, and the sale of this 51% should generate approximately 350 million dollars for Eurazeo and its partners, 238 million of which being Eurazeo's share.
