Imerys: 9m underlying EBITDA up 10%

7% increase in net income from continuing operations to 221 million euros for the first nine months of 2022, as well as a 10.2% increase in underlying EBITDA to 568 million euros.
The mineral specialties group's sales rose 19% to 3.26 billion euros, including organic growth of 14%, the result of pricing policy in the face of inflationary cost pressures.
Management said that while the downward trend in demand is expected to continue, the group is on track to achieve its 2022 EBITDA forecast this year thanks to continued price discipline and rigorous cost management.
