Natixis: 2018 net income, group share reaches E1,577m
(CercleFinance.com) - Natixis announced on Tuesday net banking income of 9,616 million euros in 2018, up 3% at constant exchange rates relative to 2017.
The bank's business lines recorded a 3% growth in net banking income over one year, at 8,917 million euros. Net income, Group share excluding extraordinary items amounted to 1,607 million euros in 2018. Including extraordinary items (-46 million euros net of tax in 2017), net income group share totaled 1,577 million euros.
François Riahi, Natixis Chief Executive Officer, said: “Natixis has delivered strong results in 2018 and 4Q18 despite a
challenging market environment. This performance illustrates how relevant our business model is - selective, asset light
and diversified - with a complementary fit across our businesses that allows us to absorb shocks effectively. With a solvency
level already at our 2020 target, we are in a position to distribute a E2.4bn total cash dividend to our shareholders. Our
