Sanofi: sets price for sale of Regeneron shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has announced that it has agreed to sell 11.
8 million Regeneron shares by a public offering at a price of 515 dollars per share, and that it will sell 9.8 million of its shares to Regeneron for 5 billion dollars.

In all, the French pharmaceutical will sell 21.6 million Regeneron shares for gross proceeds of 11.1 billion dollars, which will support the execution of its innovation and growth strategy.

As part of the offer, coordinating banks will have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 1.2 million Regeneron shares, which could bring Sanofi's gross proceeds to 11.7 billion dollars.
