Bouygues: new contract for Hong Kong metro

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Construction reports that its subsidiaries Dragages Hong Kong and Bouygues Travaux Publics have recently won the contract to extend the Tung Chung line of the Hong Kong metro, worth 3.
9b HKD (E468m).

This contract, which is Bouygues Construction's fourth for MTR Corporation Limited - the operator of the Hong Kong metro - involves extending the line to the west of Lantau Island, a fast-developing district.

In particular, the project includes the construction of a 1.3 kilometre tunnel and the creation of a new station, "Tung Chung West", which will become the line's new terminus; it must respect the nearby natural environment.
