Bouygues: sharp rise in Alstom contribution to Q1 earnings

(CercleFinance.com) - Based on Alstom's FY results (in which it held 3.
12% of the capital at the end of April), Bouygues said that Alstom's contribution to its net income for Q1 2021 amounted to 120 million euros, compared with 35 million euros a year ago.

This contribution includes 115 million euros in net dilution profit from the two capital increases carried out on 29 January by Alstom that were reserved for affiliates of CDPQ and Bombardier Inc.

It also takes into account the net capital gain from the sale of 12 million Alstom shares by Bouygues on 10 March, as well as 5 million euros from Bouygues' share of Alstom's earnings in the second half of 2020-21.
