Bouygues: FY earnings down 9.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has reported FY 2019 net income, group share that is down 9.
5% at 1,184 million euros, while its underlying operating margin (excluding the Axione impact) was up 0.3 point year-on-year at 4.4%.

The conglomerate's revenue rose 7% (up 5% on a like-for-like basis) to 37.9 billion euros, driven by all businesses. The backlog of its construction business stabilised at 33 billion euros.

At the AGM on 23 April its Board of Directors will propose a dividend of 2.60 euros per share, of which 0.90 euro per share is on an exceptional basis, with payment planned for on 7 May.

Bouygues expects to generate free cash flow after WCR of 1 billion euros thanks to the contribution of its three activities (construction, TF1 and Bouygues Telecom) in 2020, as well as a reduction in its GHG emissions by 2030.
