Total: charters first LNG bunker vessel for France

S.K. Lines are chartering the first LNG bunker vessel that will operate in France.

Both companies have signed a long-term charter contract for a second large LNG bunker vessel, to be delivered in 2021. The vessel will be based in the Marseille-Fos area in France.

It will have a capacity of 18,600 m3, with a length of about 135 metres. It will be fitted with the Mark III membrane containment system provided by the French company GTT.

This vessel has been specifically designed to provide LNG to a wide range of vessels in the Mediterranean (containerships, tankers, ferries and large cruise ships, etc.).
