Carrefour: developing e-commerce with Rakuten
(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced the forthcoming opening in April of a new virtual store on the Rakuten marketplace.
By choosing Rakuten, Carrefour is banking on the strength of a marketplace, with 15 million visitors per month, and its ecosystem of services to increase its online sales. This partnership will also enable Carrefour to integrate Rakuten's affiliate program.
Carrefour will bring to Rakuten its expertise in omnichannel, the breadth of its ranges, offers and non-food products.
By joining forces, both partners aim to find new digital growth drivers over the long term to strengthen their market share.
