Carrefour: announces two appointments in Northern Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour announces two appointments: the first is Laurent Vallée as CEO Northern Europe and the second is Geoffroy Gersdorff as Belgium managing director.


Laurent Vallée will keep on his responsibilities as group general secretary, member of the group executive committee. Currently serving as offer & merchandise group director, Geoffroy Gersdorff will report to the CEO Northern Europe.

"I would like to thank François Melchior de Polignac for his commitment to serve our transformation in the various positions he has held", says Alexandre Bompard, CEO of the French large-retail-outlet giant.

The appointments will take effect as of 4 July.
