Air Liquide: in talks to sell Schülke & Mayr

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with the private equity firm EQT, with a view to a possible sale of its subsidiary Schülke & Mayr GmbH, a specialist in both preventing infections and hygiene.


This disposal project, which was announced in November 2019, corresponds to Air Liquide's strategy of regularly reviewing its asset portfolio in order to focus on its main businesses in the gas and health sectors, and therefore maximise its performance.

This transaction will be subject to the final and definitive agreement of parties involved, and will be carried out within the framework of the social processes in force. It must also be approved by authorities in charge of competition and foreign investments.
