Safran: share up with broker confident
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday, Safran shares were one of the leaders of the pack in the CAC 40, boosted by RBC comments, with the Canadian broker expressing confidence in the outlook for the aerospace equipment supplier.
At 10:30 a.m., the stock was up 1.3%, over double the 0.5% rise in Paris' benchmark index.
The broker's optimism is underpinned by the strength of the Group's after-sales business, the favorable profitability momentum of its Leap engine joint venture, and the steady recovery of its aircraft interiors business.
Analysts point to several other favourable catalysts, whether concerning the CFM56 engine, portfolio adjustment (acquisitions, or the sale of cabin furnishings), capital redistribution or the next investor meeting, which it believes could bring good news in December.
