Safran: Zhejiang Loong Air signs maintenance contract

(CercleFinance.com) - Zhejiang Loong Air has signed a maintenance contract with CFM International for 12 years of maintenance of 32 LEAP-1A engines and 8 engines for its Airbus A320neo/A321neo.


Under the terms of the agreement, CFM Services guarantees the maintenance costs of LEAP-1A engines for the airline, based on one dollar per flying hour.

"We are confident that CFM's professional after-sales service will facilitate our rapid growth and long-term development," said Qihong Liu, chairman of Zhejiang Loong Air.

"Loong Air has chosen CFM engines since its inception. Its current fleet in service is 100 percent powered by CFM engines, said Gaël Méheust, President and CEO of CFM International.
