Ubisoft: E500m convertible bonnd issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Ubisoft Entertainment today announces the launch of bonds that are convertible into new shares and/or exchangeable into existing shares (OCEANEs), maturing in 2024, via a placement with qualified investors.
It represents a maximum nominal amount of 500 million euros.

Concurrently with the issue, Ubisoft announces exercising the early redemption option for existing OCEANEs issued on 27 September 2016 for a total of approximately 400 million euros maturing in 2021.

The net proceeds of the Offering will finance the company's general needs, including possible future acquisitions, and the refinancing of existing debt, the group said.
