M6: EBITA margin falls in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - M6 has announced EBITA of E59.
5m for Q1 2023, i.e. a margin down 1.8 point to 19%, for revenues that fell 3% to E312.9m in an economic context that has deteriorated.

Advertising revenues fell by 2%, while non-advertising revenues - adjusted for the scope effect of the sale of Best of TV - increased thanks to the sale of audiovisual rights.

Regarding the outlook for the next nine months, the media group considers the advertising market currently uncertain, particularly in the second quarter given the current economic and social context.

M6 also points out that its AGM, convened today, will be asked to approve a dividend of one euro per share for 2022, thus offering a yield of 6.5%, for payment on 5 May.
