Hermès: FY earnings up 9%
(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès has reported 2019 net income, group share that is up 9% at 1,528 million euros, albeit with a 0.
8-point slip in underlying operating profitability to 34%, due to the unfavourable impact of FX hedges.
The luxury goods group's sales came in at 6,883 million euros, up 15% (+12% at constant exchange rates), with balanced growth in all businesses and geographic areas, it said.
The group will set a dividend of five euros per share for 2019, including an interim dividend of 1.50 euro, which will be paid on 5 March. In the medium term, Hermès confirms a target of ambitious sales growth at constant rates.
